PetRescue’s 2016 pet food donation program delivered over $3 million worth of donated pet food to 275 rescue groups, shelters and pounds registered at PetRescue between May and December.

The food was generously donated by Mars Petcare, and kindly distributed by PETstock stores, so that thousands of rescue pets got premium quality, nutritious food for free.

The money that participating rescue groups and shelters have saved through this innovative pet food donation program has helped to cover the cost of vital vet care and other essentials in saving the lives of Australia’s homeless pets.

I have a white swiss shepherd who scratches in summer lots and drives me mad. She has had all worming and flea etc. treatments which I keep up to date. There is the beginning of patches of less hair coming now through so much scratching … I have used so many things and still persists. I am told the vets can do extensive testing at many dollars so trying to avoid this as much as possible. Otherwise she is very healthy at 17 months so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
