Perth Royal Show 2016

September 24 – October 1

There are a number of dog events planned for the upcoming Perth Royal Show.

In the showing department, throughout the week visitors will be able to catch a number of competitions, aimed to showcase one particular skill at a time, including jumping, agility and obedience. In addition to this, there are competitions that pit similar dogs against one another, so if you’re particularly fond of a certain breed make sure you turn up on the appropriate day.

Additional competitions to watch include a dog grooming competition on the Wednesday, and a Dances with Dogs performance on the last Saturday of the show.

Outside of showing, dog lovers will also be treated to a display from the WA quarantine detector dogs and their handlers, which will aim to increase awareness for the value of the work they do, as well as provide some interactive games for children.
