Neighbours recognise dogs before people

Dogs are becoming more recognisable in our neighbourhoods than us!

According to a survey of Australian pet owners by Pawshake, 70 per cent say of people say there are pets in their neighbourhood whose name they know, but they don’t have a clue about the owners.

Think about the last time you ran into your neighbour while walking the dog. Chances are they were more interested in your four-legged pal than you.

Despite our neighbours recognising our furry friends more than us, dogs can be the way to bring the community together.

Next time you run into a neighbour with their dog, take the time to get to know both of them.

Make sure your furry friend is always looked after at our DOGSLife Directory
