Kelpie nimble, Kelpie quick, Kelpie jumped over the stick high jump wall!

Nimble the rescue Kelpie from Sydney has broken the record for dog jumping, scaling a 2.95m purpose-built wall.

The previous record was held by Sotomayor who jumped 2.91m in 1993. That record was broken by a dog in Victoria just last month.

Nimble can’t claim the record just yet though. The Guinness World Record is yet to be verified and needs to be viewed by a number of independent witnesses and filmed for evidence. Nimble’s health also needs to be signed off by a vet.

Nimble is owned by the founders of the Australian Working Dog Rescue adoption agency who took her in when she was just six weeks old.

Nimble will be next competing at the Sydney Dog Lovers Show at Sydney Royal Hordern Pavillion on August 6 and 7.
