Support cancer research with your pooch at Bark for Life 2016

October 9
10am-2pm

Bark for Life follows in the footsteps of Relay for Life, a long-running walking marathon, to raise funds for the Cancer Council. Bark for life is a unique variant on the model, which encourages participants to bring along their dogs.

Bark for Life seeks to recognise and support cancer survivors, patients and their human and dog carers, as well as to honour and remember loved ones lost to cancer, all while raising money to assist further research.

Set to be held on Sunday 9 October between 10am and 2pm, it’s shorter than a human Relay for Life, so you won’t need to worry about setting up camp overnight, or wearing your shoes out.

Get your dog and head out to Bark for Life to help out a great cause. Dog-less human walkers are welcome, and the event is on the lookout for more volunteers.

More information can be found on the event’s campaign page here.
