Pawsitive Steps Towards Mental Health

July 18th, 2016

28th August, 2016
9am to 1pm

Help fight the stigma of mental illness and hit the pavement with furry friends!

Pawsitive are helping Sydney take a step towards a better future in mental health. The annual walk is run by volunteer groups and local businesses in the Hills District and is aimed at encouraging better mental health through dog ownership.

The walk is 2km long but there’s a fun twist! Every 200m there is an obstacle which symbolises a mental illness. You and your dog will have to navigate the equipment and work together to find a way around the obstacle.

Walk with your dog, your family or just yourself and help raise awareness for mental health. All registered walkers will be provided a breakfast from the local North Rocks Rotary Club.
