Pet food giant, Hill’s Pet Nutrition, held an exclusive wellness retreat at Bondi Beach, NSW yesterday for celebrities and their pups to promote their all-natural Ideal Balance pet food.

Dogs Life editor Kylie Baracz and her pampered pooch Rusty were lucky to tag along and enjoy the fun and festivities with the likes of Kerrie-Anne Kennerley, Larry Emdur, Luke Jacobz, Jade Albany and Shae-Lee Shackleford.

Hosted by Channel 7’s host of The Morning Show, Kylie Gillies and TV vet Dr Katrina Warren, guests and their pets enjoyed an afternoon of doggy yoga (also knowns as ‘doga’) at the iconic North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club which was dramatically transformed into a unique beach-side oasis.

The retreat also provided luxurious massages and day spa-style treatments for both owners and their pets while they sipped on  juices and smoothies and ate organic and natural canapes.

Kylie Gillies and Pepe

As a proud Hill’s Ideal Balance Ambassador, Kylie Gillies said her French Bulldog Pepe jumped at the chance to spend a day relaxing with his famous mum.

“Our Frenchie Pepe is part of our family. We love and adore him, and like most pet ‘parents’ we tend to spoil him!” she says.

“When it comes to my diet, I try and select the good, healthy, natural option and I try to maintain some sort of balance in my own life. That’s why I’m thrilled to be working with Hill’s who is committed to ensuring our precious and much-loved pets can have the same balance in their lives.”

Hill’s Ideal Balance pet food contains over 50 nutrients which is claimed to create the perfect balance of protein, fats, vitamins, minerals and fibre. It contains no added corn, wheat or soy and no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives.
