EnsoPet

There are more than four million dogs in Australia and each produce up to 100kg of waste annually. Composting with EnsoPet as your pet waste disposal method would successfully reduce tonnes of plastic bags and pet waste ending up in landfill, while at the same time returning carbon and nutrients to the soil. Simply install your EnsoPet system in the garden and then collect your dog’s waste using the tongs provided. The EnsoPet Starter is sprinkled on top. Then, thanks to the micro-organisms inside the EnsoPet system, the waste will break down at rapid speed. What a fabulous environmentally friendly solution to a very messy problem! 2. Katie Jones says:

I have invested in biodegradable dog poo bags and would love to be able to use my pooper scooper to fill a new EnsoPet with Toffee’s dog Toffee.

I must admit, we have a “poo graveyard” at the back of our garden where dog poo goes to die in deep pits – the ‘EnsoPet’ sounds infinitely more glamorous!!!!!

  7. Alison says:

This would be perfect for our yard. We have a grey waste system for the humans so the Enso Pet would be ideal for our little man.

Bokashi has produced some of the best eco solutions to everyday waste issues. This would be fantastic as I have 2 full-time super poopers, so to turn their waste to something useful would be amazing.

This sounds wonderful. We are definitely trying to reduce our waste & impact on the Earth as much as possible. Its been a very concious goal at the forefront for us in the last 4 years particularly. I’d love one!

This is the most incredible idea and something I’d love to use and implement in our household! I’m always trying to be earth and climate mindful and we should do the same with our pooches waste too!

Our 4 legged friend at Natimuk has something very similar to this and her 2 legged friend Raves over it.

  23. This sounds too good to be true! My poor dad has been the one left with the job to clean up our new puppies poo, however I think he would find picking it up more enjoyable if he knew it was going to help his garden grow!

  24. sbarker says:

yes please mr B is a factory when it comes to this

  25. This would be fantastic for me. I run a dog sitting service where the dogs come and sleep over at my place, this would be great to keep the lawns clean and putting the poo to good use!

  35. A better solution than councils saying you can put it in your green bin, only to attract flies. This option is more sanitary

  36. becbilj says:

I would love to try this, we always try to be as environmentally focused as possibly, but dog poo is always in plastic!

  37. Monty says:

I have 3 big compost bins at home for food and gardening scraps and I currently scoop the dog poop into those bins too, but it’s not ideal and doesn’t break down properly. This product is just what I need!!

  39. Andrea says:

This will work well in combination with our worm farm, if I don’t over think it too much that is!!! Poop is poop after all, be good to find a use for it.

  41. ernesto69 says:

I’ve seen these, been interested them in a very long time. And why not make good use of dogs poop, we put the chook poop in the garden.
